Text Message Terms

1. Program description

Everstep Updates is an optional text message program operated by DYNAMIC CONSULTING CONCEPTS LLC, doing business as Everstep. Subscribers receive recurring automated text messages about assistance program application windows, program rule changes, seasonal deadlines, and new educational guides and tools published on everstep.com.

The program offers two separate categories of messages, and you choose each independently:

• Service updates and account notifications — application windows opening or closing, program rule changes, and time-sensitive deadlines
• Marketing and promotions — new guides, new tools, and highlights from the resource library

Selecting one category does not enroll you in the other. You may select either, both, or neither.

2. How to join

You may join by completing the signup form on our Get text updates page, providing your mobile phone number, and checking one or both consent boxes. Both boxes are unchecked by default. Consent is given only by your affirmative action.

After signing up you will receive a confirmation message. Standard message and data rates may apply to that message and to all subsequent messages.

3. Consent is not required

Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services, and is not required to access any content, tool, resource, or download on this website. Every guide, calculator, and checklist on everstep.com is free and fully available whether or not you subscribe.

4. Message frequency and cost

Message frequency varies depending on program activity and the categories you selected. Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile plan. Everstep does not charge for the messages themselves; any charges come from your mobile carrier.

5. How to opt out

Reply STOP to any message from us to cancel at any time. You will receive a single confirmation message and no further messages will be sent. Opting out of one category may stop all messages from the program, so if you wish to receive only one category, adjust your preferences by contacting us rather than replying STOP.

6. How to get help

Reply HELP to any message for assistance. You may also reach us at info@everstep.com or (762) 200-0768 during Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM ET.

7. Supported carriers

The program is supported by major U.S. carriers, including AT&T, Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile, and others. Carrier participation may change without notice. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

8. Privacy

We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number or consent information with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes. Phone numbers are shared only with the messaging service provider that delivers messages on our behalf, and only for that purpose. See our Privacy Policy for complete detail.

We record the date and time of your consent, the consent language shown to you, the categories you selected, and the page where you signed up. This record is kept to demonstrate that consent was properly obtained.

9. Changing your number

If you change or deactivate your mobile number, notify us so we do not send messages to a number now held by someone else. You agree to indemnify us for claims arising from your failure to do so.

10. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and the account holder of, or authorized to use, the mobile number you provide. Do not enroll a number that is not yours.

11. What these messages are not

Everstep is a private educational resource operated by DYNAMIC CONSULTING CONCEPTS LLC. We are not a government agency, and we are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of any federal, state, or local government program. We do not accept applications, determine eligibility, or distribute benefits.

Messages from this program are educational notifications about publicly available programs. They are not benefit determinations, not case-specific communications, and not official notices from any agency. We will never ask you for a Social Security number, bank account information, or payment by text message. If you receive a message claiming to be from us that asks for any of these, it is not from us.

12. Changes to these terms

We may modify these terms at any time. The "last updated" date reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated to active subscribers.
